Hostem Univerzity Palackého byl velvyslanec Irska v České republice J. E. Charles Sheehan, kterého ve své pracovně uvítal rektor Jaroslav Miller. Po setkání na Rektorátě UP uvedl přednášku o budoucí pozici Irské republiky a Severního Irska po brexitu, kterou pro akademickou obec i širší veřejnost připravila katedra anglistiky a amerikanistiky FF.
