Participants in the five-day ERA Chair ACCELERATOR Summer School, organised by CATRIN for Palacký University students from 16 to 20 June, will gain new insights into technology transfer, innovative management, and science communication. Applicants can register by 30 May.
“The summer school is primarily intended for students of science disciplines, but students from the humanities are also welcome. We have prepared a five-day programme full of workshops. We will also cover topics such as work-life balance and how to write a successful project proposal. In addition, we will help participants develop their English language skills so they can deliver strong scientific presentations and communicate their research effectively,” said Monika Klimparová from CATRIN on behalf of the organisers. All workshops will be held in English.
Those interested can register here; places are limited. A detailed programme is available on CATRIN’s website.
Thanks to the ACCELERATOR project supported by Horizon Europe, world-renowned chemist Alexander Dömling has established a new research group at Palacký University. Their central research topic is miniaturisation and automation, leading to sustainable chemistry and contributing to the more efficient development of new drugs, nanomaterials, plant protection agents, and biostimulants. The project also aims to attract other outstanding scientists to the university, support young talent, and strengthen collaboration with commercial partners.
