The Faculty of Science of Palacký University has a newly elected Academic Senate for the election period 2020–2023. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, its members were elected for the first time by online voting, which took place on Wednesday and Thursday. Less than a third of the 3683 voters cast their vote for one of the candidates. 14 newly elected academics and 7 students will sit in the self-governing representative body of the faculty.

3683 voters from the ranks of academics and students could participate in the elections to the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Science, while 1073 of them exercised their right.

At the end of the two-day elections, the Election Committee stated that the voting took place in accordance with the Rules of Elections and Rules of Procedure of the Academic Senate and that there was no reason to repeat it. No complaints or objections were raised during the elections.
