The Young Researcher Grant Competition aims to support selected early-career academics or researchers under the age of 37 with international experience in establishing new research groups and laboratories and in developing an independent research programme aimed at preparing a high-quality international project, particularly within European framework programmes for research and innovation.
The applicant must meet the requirements defined by the applicable university policy, does not have to be an UP employee on the date of submission of the project proposal, but the person submitting the proposal must be identical to the principal researcher.
The principal researcher is an academic, scientist or researcher aged up to 37 years, who received a doctorate degree not more than 8 years ago, has excellent results, participates in international collaboration, and has completed a international research stay of a minimum of 3 consecutive months.
Other members of the research team may also include other academic or scientific staff of UP, students of UP and other staff of UP.
The duration of the project is 36 months.
